On the 13th July I returned to Flat Holm Island for my third visit, this time as part of an organised event with Cardiff Astronomical Society.
I had the opportunity of doing some solar observing through a telescope then after dark see the rings of Saturn and other parts of the night sky. Before the clouds came in, I ran around grabbing some shots of Flat Holm Island before heading to bed at 2:45am.
Thanks to Bay Island Voyages for transporting me and my kit safely. If anyone is thinking of visiting the island I recommend travelling with them.
